I·Am End User License Agreement

1. Agreement

By downloading or using I·Am (“the App”), you agree to this End User License Agreement (“EULA”) with the developer of I·Am (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where required by the App Store. In case of conflict on App Store distribution, Apple’s terms govern your use of the App obtained through Apple.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial growth and reflection.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the App or its content except as permitted by law or with our written consent.

3. What I·Am is — and is not

• I·Am is a personal growth and inner-dialogue tool. It is not religious doctrine, therapy, counseling, or medical care.
• Content (templates, quotes, prompts) is for reflection and inspiration only. It is not professional advice.
• AI responses (when you enable BYOK) come from your chosen third-party provider. We do not guarantee accuracy, safety, or suitability of AI output.
• If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, use emergency services or the crisis resources linked in the App — do not rely on the App alone.

4. Your content & BYOK

• You are responsible for what you write in the App and for any API keys or endpoints you configure (BYOK).
• You must comply with your AI provider’s terms and applicable law when using BYOK.
• Dialogue is stored on your device by default as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions & purchases

• Premium features may require a subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase.
• Yearly plans may include a first-month-free introductory offer as shown in the App Store at purchase time. Monthly plans are billed from the start unless otherwise stated in the store.
• Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple. Subscription status may be validated via RevenueCat as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Prices and offers may change; applicable terms are those displayed at purchase.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design, original templates, quotes, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. You receive only the limited license above — no ownership of the App or its content.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, BYOK FEATURES, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.

9. Termination

This license ends if you violate this EULA or if we discontinue the App. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Sections that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) will survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update this EULA. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated EULA.
