At Synapse OS (created by Vajra Howly), we believe your time, tasks, and cognitive thoughts belong exclusively to you. Synapse OS is architected from the ground up as a Local-First, Zero-Telemetry application.

We operate no central tracking servers, no remote analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics or Firebase Telemetry), and no third-party advertising frameworks. All your data stays strictly on your physical Apple device.

🎙️ 2. Speech Recognition & Natural Language Processing

When using Omni-Capture voice or text input, all speech transcription and natural language parsing are executed locally using Apple's built-in Speech framework and NaturalLanguage on-device APIs powered by the Apple Neural Engine.

No audio recordings or transcribed text are ever transmitted to any remote servers.

📅 3. Calendar & EventKit Access

If you grant Synapse OS permission to access Apple Calendar via EventKit:

• The app reads your existing calendar events solely to compute timeline collision detection and prevent scheduling conflicts.
• Events created within Synapse OS are written directly to your local device database or Apple Calendar storage.
• None of your calendar entries or attendee names are transmitted outside your device.

💎 4. In-App Purchases & Financial Data

All financial transactions for the Synapse OS Lifetime Pro one-time purchase ($14.99 Early Bird / $29.99 Regular) are handled directly through Apple's App Store and StoreKit infrastructure.

We never receive or store your credit card number, billing address, or Apple ID credentials.

⚖️ 5. Global Compliance (GDPR, CCPA & PIPL)

Because Synapse OS collects zero personal data on external servers, you have full sovereign control over your information:

• Right to Access & Portability: Your data is stored locally in standard SQLite/UserDefaults formats.
• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Deleting tasks within the app or uninstalling the app permanently purges 100% of stored data from your device.
• Compliance with China PIPL: Complies with the Personal Information Protection Law of the PRC without collecting unauthorized personal data.
