Summary

Ripple is local-first. We do not operate a cloud account for your journal. Your writings, distilled lines, and API key are stored on your device unless you delete the app.

What leaves your device

When you tap Distill or Rewrite, the text you submit is sent to your chosen AI provider (e.g. Google Gemini) using your API key.
When you copy or share your line, text goes through your system share sheet (e.g. LINE, WeChat) or you may send voice/video yourself.

What we do not collect

No Ripple login, no ads SDK, no sale of personal data.
We do not receive your API key on our servers.

Journal & Face ID

History is stored locally. If you enable Face ID or a PIN, it only gates access on your device.
